🌱 Alphabetical Order

The lady interviewed in this podcast hates Dewey (the man behind the Dewey Decimal System).

I always sorta hated it because it felt arbitrary. Turns out it is pretty horrible at telling you where to place or retrieve any individual book.

This caused libraries that used the system also have to make use of a card catalog to manage the library.
