🌱 Designer User Contract

Source

A major ethical component of practicing user interface design is to honor the (implicit) contract between designer and user. This contract states that the designer will make the user experience as productive, pleasant and pain-free as possible. Using a poorly designed UI hurts, both cognitively (confusion, interruption of work flow, annoyance) and physically (RMI and eye strain from an unnecessary abundance of required keystrokes and mouse points, clicks, drags).
