I love the idea of a passive system, no machines or grid energy required.

What is the cons of this system? Are there extremes it can’t handle, do bugs and animals come in through the windows? Dust?

Am I missing something that this shouldn’t be the default design only augmenting with heat pumps for extreme cases?
