Anecdotal evidence from my observations of family, friends, coworkers over the past two years. Those who are on Facebook are more stressed, depressed or angry than those who are not on Facebook.
I personally only check RSS now and YouTube is next on the chopping block for me. I may come back to social media but I am happier without it for now.
