🌱 Hose-less carwash
- Less complex than 2 bucket method but better than paid car wash
- More regular less intense washing
- prevents paint dulling from swirled scrubbing
Gear
- Costco microfiber cloths (need ~3-5 cloth per wash )
- Glass Cloth
- Rinse-less solution
- grid guard in bucket
- 5 gallon bucket
Method
- Mix solution & water in bucket
- Pick out any debris from towels
- Soak towels at the top of bucket
- Pull a soaked cloth from bucket
- Fold cloth twice
- thumb over the loose edges of folded cloth (seams away from your hand)
- start from the top of car and work your way down (probably from clean to dirtiest)
- wipe motion along curves of car NOT scrubbing (circular)
- once the side of cloth is dirty flip and fold to clean side to use all parts of cloth
- DO NOT put dirty cloth back in bucket
- ring out a cloth from bucket & pick dry cloth (folded like the others)
- slightly rewet car with wet cloth
- then use dry cloth to remove streaks
Can reuse the wash bucket fluid up to 3x (or lasts for 2-3 weeks)
