🌱 McDonalds Hot Coffee Case

I remember this being presented as you can sue for everything when I was a kid. Looks like it was not that at all.

Customer got 3rd degree burns and only asked for $20,000 to cover medical costs (8 days in hospital).

McDonalds had 100s of other similar cases from folks being burned by coffee that was well beyond a normal temperature.
