Capitalism will only produce results if a profit can be made

When there is innovation in America it is not because of capitalism but in spite of it.

Uses example of an iPhone not being a capitalist invention but a device build on many programs funded by government (gps, cell radios, touch screens, microprocessor, internet).

Also uses example of polio vaccine being un patented as an example of innovation and value being added for its own sake, not for a profit.
