🌱 Worker per million in revenue

Source

The 500 companies that make up the S&P 500 back in 1980 averaged 8 workers per $1 million in revenue. Now it’s just over 2 workers per $1 million. There’s 70% less labor behind the annual revenue of these 500 companies. Meanwhile, the S&P 500’s value is 35x what it was in 1980. https://t.co/ocZHDWtz2Y

Is this a moral issue ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Is this a practical issue I think so Is this sustainable, I don’t think so (assuming folks need money to continue to pay companies for stuff)
